Get to know kim
Absalom, Absalom!, by William Faulkner, is one of my favorite books. It really shook me in college when I read it. Told by several narrators, time shifts forward and backward, with the variations of the story changing with every different speaker. Each narrator brings their own version of the “truth.” What changed me to my core was realizing, to what extent can people know the truth about the past? Another word for stories about the past: history.
