The Fahrenheit Group Welcomes New Director Shelly Lammon, CPA

Shelly Lammon, CPA joins our Raleigh office as a Director on our Finance and Advisory team. Shelly has been providing small business owners with contract strategic and financial guidance since 2007 as a fractional Controller and CFO.  She enjoys working with business owners and managers to help them better understand the financial position of their company.  Shelly’s goal is to provide expertise and resources for business owners and their leadership teams that enable them to make the right decisions in their financial direction. Shelly specializes in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, financial analysis, and cash flow management. She also serves as a coach and mentor to the accounting teams at the clients she serves.

In addition to being a small business owner herself, prior to joining The Fahrenheit Group, Shelly served as the Director of Endowment Administration for Duke University and in numerous financial roles with several financial institutions in Raleigh and Charlotte. Shelly began her career in public accounting in Arthur Andersen’s Charlotte office with a specialized focus in the financial services industry.

Shelly graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance and a Masters in Accounting, both from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan Flagler Business School. She is a CPA in North Carolina.

Shelly was raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, and now lives close by in Apex with her husband, Mike, and 2 kids, Noah and Madeline. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially outside, as well as running, traveling, and skiing.
