Dale’s experience brings to the table a unique blend of financial, accounting and operational experience that most controllers and CFOs do not have. From those experiences, he is able to connect the dots between operations and finance understanding the impact and implications on operations of decisions and processes needed to support accurate financial reporting and an effective control environment. This provides an opportunity to develop solutions that work effectively across the enterprise not just for finance or just for operations.
Dale’s unique blend of operations and financial experience includes almost 20 years of leading the finance functions of an organization serving as Divisional Controller for 13 years, having the finance function report to him as a leader of Operations and also serving as a Corporate Controller in a publicly traded company. In addition, Dale also has experienced leading Operations including manufacturing and distribution operations for over 25 locations across the United States (with over 1,200 employees) and serving as a Regional Vice President leading a Division of a newspaper company.
