As a CPA, controller, and long-time consultant with over 20 years of experience, Russ helps clients navigate the complexities of compliance and financial reporting, improve accounting processes, and gain a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges within their business. His experience in accounting, auditing, banking, information technology systems, and project management has positioned him as a senior level consultant and interim CFO and controller.

Throughout his career, Russ has held key finance positions at some of America’s largest companies, served as a budget director with the Department of Defense, and taught accounting and finance at the university level. In these roles, his responsibilities included implementing new ERP solutions, accounting systems, and procedures and overseeing all organizational accounting functions. As interim controller and CFO for an online retail startup, he developed the accounting and reporting function as the company entered a high growth phase. He has also served as the lead on several pre- and post-IPO Sarbanes-Oxley engagements during his tenure in Silicon Valley.
