With 20+ years of experience as a Controller and co-owning a Commercial General Contracting company, Julie bring extensive accounting skills to Fahrenheit.  Skills include: accounts payable/receivable, contract billing, job costing, payroll, general ledger, taxes and sales and use tax. She has been responsible for all aspects of financial reporting including 401K, insurance, etc. Running her own company gave her the experience to identify problems, inefficiencies, supervision and profit maximization.

Julie began her accounting career with a small CPA firm in Richmond where she learned every aspect of business accounting, payroll and taxes. This experience was invaluable. She worked for a medical management company before starting her General Contracting company  She was responsible for everything that was related to the financial position of the company.  She substitute taught at her children’s elementary school after leaving the construction industry to give back. That helped her perfect her skills for teaching others accounting skills and has a lot of patience. Working in a med-tech company as an assistant controller gave her the best of both worlds but when the pandemic hit she became the full-time controller.
